Common questions.
Do I need my own lock?
Yes. You supply the lock and keep the only key. A good disc lock or closed-shackle padlock is best.
Are the indoor units really heated?
Yes. The building is heated through the winter so contents stay above freezing. It is not humidity-controlled, so wrap upholstered furniture and mattresses and keep boxes off the floor.
Is the entry level?
Yes. You drive up and walk or wheel straight in. No stairs, no ramps, no elevator, which makes a difference when you are moving a fridge or a filing cabinet.
What can go in the compound?
Motorhomes, travel trailers and fifth wheels, boats on trailers, utility and cargo trailers, vehicles and work equipment. Tell us the length when you call so we can place you.
Can I park a storage container there?
Yes. There is room in the fenced compound for shipping containers and sea cans, whether you already own one or are having one delivered. Tell us the size and we will set aside a spot the truck can reach.
Is there a minimum term?
One month. After that it is month to month. Give us notice before your next payment date when you are ready to move out.
Are my things insured?
No. Goods in storage are not insured by us. Most home or tenant policies extend to items in storage, so check with your insurer.
What is not allowed?
Fuel, propane, paint, chemicals and other hazardous materials, food and perishables, animals, anything illegal, and living or working in a unit. RVs and boats in the compound must be drained of water and have fuel tanks no more than a quarter full.
